The Hunted is the first of our winemakers washed rind series. Celebrating all that is local, Remutaka Pass Creamery starts with organic cow’s milk, sourced from Te Pare Organic Farm, Kahutara – a mere 12 minutes from our creamery.
The cheese incorporates Pinot Noir from The Huntress, Martinborough (15 minutes from our creamery) which produces a deep brown/orange colour and earthy/barnyardy flavour.
A very creamy, stronger style of washed rind, perfect on your favourite crusty bread accompanied by……..oh go on, Pinot Noir from The Huntress!. Veg rennet. Seasonal – limited availability
